2. Pump Units, Series R5

All gear pumps of the R5 series can be supplied as a unit with electric motor, bracket, clutch and other accessories.

Equipped with three-phase asynchronous motors as standard, but also available with single-phase AC motors and DC motors of various voltage levels on request. Motors can be supplied in a wide range of versions to suit individual customer requirements, in compliance with various standards and efficiency classes – please contact us. Pump brackets, unit feet and clutches are also available in various designs and materials.

3. UNI Pumps

Generally, reversing the direction of rotation at the pump input shaft reverses the direction of flow. RICKMEIER universal pumps always pump in one direction of flow, irrespective of the drive direction of rotation. This characteristic makes these mechanical driven pumps ideal for all applications where a reversal flow direction is undesirable.

Thanks to the special design of this internal gear pump series, switching valves are not required. This means that RICKMEIER UNI pumps can be simply integrated into wind power plants, marine transmissions or gas generators, for example. If the direction of rotation is reversed, the bi-rotational pump switches over automatically, at the same time maintaining the direction of flow. The sophisticated design with a minimum number of parts offers significant advantages over other solutions, such as lower pressure losses even at low temperatures and high oil viscosities.

RICKMEIER UNI pumps are extremely low-maintenance and require no wear parts such as seals and valves. As a result, they can be operated without maintenance effort over extremely long operating times. They cover displacement volumes of 35 to 160 cm³ per revolution, which corresponds to a flow rate of up to 400 litres per minute. The mechanical driven RICKMEIER pumps can be supplied with a wide range of casings and customised drive concepts. 4. Customised Pump

RICKMEIER realises customised solutions for every conceivable customer interface and installation situation (attachment pumps, cartridge pumps etc.) with various pipe connections (DIN, SAE and special designs), even in small quantities and batch sizes. And simple pressure relief valves or pilot-operated, external pressure control valves can be integrated even in the largest pumps.

In close collaboration with national and international customers, from the initial design to the prototype and right through to series production, RICKMEIER engineers and technicians develop external and internal gear pumps with flow rates ranging from 1 to 3000 cm³ per revolution, i.e. flow rates of up to 5000 l/min.

Flow-optimised casing design and innovative gearing geometries allow the realisation of extremely low noise levels and maximum efficiency for the individual operating point.

5. Valve

RICKMEIER valves have been especially developed for installation into pipelines and are used for pressure limitation and pressure control. A spindle allows precise adjustment of the desired opening or working pressure. The valve piston has a low breakaway force and enables a sensitive response of the valve when the set pressure is reached. Sharp control edges on the piston and valve boxes make the valves insensitive to dust particles in the medium.

In addition, we offer pilot-controlled pressure relief and control valves for particularly high flow rates (up to 5000 l/min), optionally with external actuation, as well as pilot-controlled pressure relief valves with electrical or pneumatic change-over or with proportional control.
